10,000 Degrees is a non-profit organization that helps thousands of students each year get to and through college. Each year it lights the future for low-income students by reaching out to the community and inspiring them to give. Over the past few years, Kreativz has helped 10,000 Degrees grow the number of students they serve each year and shape how the community views education.
Fundraising Campaign, Identity & Design
Kreativz facilitated a design-thinking session to reimagine the 10,000 Degrees annual gala previously called Scholarship Night. From the first session, a new name emerged and Kreativz set to work to design a logo that would be strong enough to stand on its own while exible enough to allow for unique themes with different colors each year. The organization wanted to capitalize on its successful I AM ONE DEGREE branding yet have a distinctive look for the event.
Embracing this design challenge, the new One Amazing Night logo was born. Each year Kreativz collaborates with the 10,000 Degrees Event Committee to develop the theme in color, messaging and design for digital and printed materials as well as experience design in the room. The event has grown and more importantly has dramatically increased the funds it raises at these events. Recent years have seen the event raise $1,000,000 in its 35th anniversary year, and $700,000 and $800,000 in 2017 and 2018.
